Headlight trim

I'm having some touch up done to the front bumper and headlight trim for chips and light scratches on my 86 Carrera. My shop guy told me that the headlight trim is made of brass. Was this standard on the 86's?

Your shop guy is correct. The headlight trim rings are made of brass.

I got the car back today and the paint is a perfect match. I was a bit worried that the color wouldn't exactly match since the car is 22 years old.
