As the title states I used it on my 87 guards red could not be happier with the product.Before:

I got the road rash kit. I just had to put the paint on an old tee shirt wipe the area wait for it to dry and then go over it with a blending solution which takes away the paint from around the nick`s.You have to buff it after all is said and done with a cloth that they give you. I am going to try it on some rock chips and will post some before and after of those as well.....

Did you ever try the rock chips? I Need some desparate help on my hood and fron bumper. I really need to get them reshot, but if this does a better job than the Paintscratch, might help it until I can get to paint.

My brother used Touch up 123 on his Champagne colored Carrera.

Tested on his mirros first and they came out real nice.

Just want to relay my experience with DrColorChip. I ordered their deluxe kit for a white '07 GT3 and it was not even close (factory color LB9A - Carrara White). It was dark like a beige. See below.



So I email them and send them some pics, and they respond that they will send me a new bottle. When I finally get it, again, it was not even close. It was a bright glacier white and not even the same tint. I could have done better with some generic white Duplicolor at Pep Boys. I think they're just winging things over there. See the next pic:



I ended up going down to my local PPG paint store, and had them mix up some PPG lacquer which was a perfect match. And it was a LOT cheaper - $25.

The trick I found that works the same as the Dr. ColorChip method and turns out better, dab your lacquer paint into each chip with a toothpick or super tiny paint brush and let dry. Build it up so it fills the chip and stick over like a tiny pimple. Let dry at least a couple of days. Then with a smooth plastic credit card like card (except with no embossed letters) wrap a single layer of a smooth paper towel around the card (smooth side of the towel on the outside). With another paper towel, dab a small amount of automotive lacquer thinner on it, and lightly dab the moistened towel on the surface of the towel wrapping your plastic card. Then take the towel wrapped card, and using the moistened flat side, lightly wipe down all the touched up paint pimples with even strokes in one direction. Repeat constantly and change the towel frequently as the lacquer will evaporate in 30 seconds. The lacquer thinner on the towel will remove all paint above the original paint surface, while leaving the touched up paint inside the chip at a even level with the original paint. Properly done, it's very hard to find the chips afterwards, even from looking at it from a few inches away.

The trick with wiping the paint is to keep the paper towel on the card wrapped tight, and dab only enough thinner on your paper towel to barely dissolve the paint on the top. If you use too much, you dissolve the paint out of the chip. I'm using this method to fill in hundreds of chips on the lower rockers in very little time.
