Color Samples
Im getting ready to start the process of findiing a paint shop/ prepping, etc for paint for my 67 vintage racecar, but all of these colors I see on cars on these posts are swirling around, and on a monitor there are useless. Where can I find and actually see paint samples for both early and later Porsche paint colors, like Ossi Blue, etc? I saw the German site that lists all of the color codes and has some sample pictures, but who might have actual samples I can choose from, especially here in the SF bay area?
Thanks for any help! David |

How do I correlate the codes from say, the Red book? Do paint manufacturers books link back to the Glasurit/Porsche paint codes?

the jobber has color chips of the year and makes of cars . most body shops do also . but with body shops most will only have chips from the year they opened there doors to date . also a body shop for the most part don't just let people come look threw there books . i have some color books dating back to the 1930s that no one can handle but me just becouse they are priceless . so yes the books will have the color chip with a color code .
