Rounding out flares?

Has anyone ever rounded out the stamped crease in lwb flares? Got pics?
Curious to know what it looks like...

Thanks for the link allaircooled, I knew I had seen the work somewhere. I'm specifically wondering if anyone has done this to stock flares, Though--just curious.

We have rounded out a few sets of SC Arches to look like the more rounded Carrera RS style.

I only have a couple of poor photos but we are painting at least one of these cars in the next week or so.....

Thanks chris_seven, looks pretty cool. Is this done on the car with heat and hammer Dollie work or off the car befor welding?

Done cold with dolly and hammer with shrinking hammer where needed.

Done with wings on the car.

No welding involved if you have an SC to start with.

new RS style weld-in flares are available from Porsche but there is a part number issue and one time SC profile parts will turn up and another time RS profiles arrive.

Just a lottery.

Whenever we do a backdate we always modify the rear flares.
