Fender Removal

I would like to remove front fenders on my 73 911 as I continue the teardown. I know that it is bolted on, but is it also welded or tack welded? Will it require any cutting?

if the fenders have never been off the car in it's life you will find a single tack weld were you open the door and the top two bolts are at the cowl panel is .
you have to slid a stiff putty knife down between the cowl and the fender between the two bolts location and hit the end of the knife hard to cut the tack weld there .
other then that there are no other welds on the fenders .
