Horn button

Does anyone know where to purchase a 9 hole ring with horn button for a 9 hole wheel

the button is available separate from the ring at SMC (its a standard 356A style horn button). They may have a repro ring as well

It looks like the ring holds the horn button onto the wheel is this correct?

nope, the button is just a press fit like on an original A steering wheel

I was always under the impression that the "button" in question is for flashing headlight signals, and the "ring" is for the horn...???

only if you have a ring. that was optional. no ring = horn button. with ring = flasher button
