356 B/SC Value Help
I'm thinking about adding to the Porschestable and I found a car I'm interested in. It's a 1963 356 that has the 356B 1962 motor, but the 1963 356 SC badging. Car is basically original, has decent paint, drives and runs well, newer brakes and minimul rust. It's a nice weekend driver, but not a concourse car. Unknown mileage. What do you think?
I'm looking for a nice project/weekend driver. John

Difference between teh T6 B and the C is disk brakes - do you have drums or disks? Also, the VIN can be used to determine if it is a early C or a late B. Value wise, B coupes are at teh bottom.
I'd recommend getting a person in your area with 356 experience to do a PPI on your car - there is a list on the 356 Registry's website of people willing to do this. Also, you may want to subscribe to 356talk while you are there - lots of cars for sale get posted there first, and lots to learn.
