Mark,

feel free to get in touch with me via email. I've been down this road before. Actually, been going down it for 8 years now...hopefully you'll be faster than me. But I see that little boy running around...

Thanks for the replies.

No it does not appear to be all original paint, I see a tape line on a section of rubber trim. I think the whole car was repainted original color quite some time ago. The paint job is good, I'm leaving it alone. I don't see any body work, I took a good look up fender wells and all around every crevice. Very solid car except for fr pan area. Looks like I'm going to do the bulk head, fr pan and toe support brackets.

Little boy running around? oh, you mean my my 'helper'. Yes, they can really slow down such a project! I actually have two 'helpers' Hopefully he does not try to fix things as he has many times in the past (just today he cut the cord of my work light!)

I may take you up on offer to contact, many questions down the road i'm sure.

I was checking out the gas tank today, it was full and not leaking, but there is some rust inside I'm not sure what to do with. I'd like to save this tank for now, maybe get a new one down the road if necessary.

Still no pics of car in shop, try to get some tomorrow.

Gileadgarage,
Did you by any chance used to work on Espar diesel fired engine pre-heaters?
Live in Bethel?
