Photoshop project:Tranform this original 1970T
ok, so I have this car that's been sitting under a cover for this past winter. As spring approaches, I am thinking about lowering the car to European specs and adding the H4 lights.....can some Photoshop guru out there show me what it will look like with the new additions? Also, what other things should I do to it? I'd like to keep it as original as possible but at the same time update its appearance. thanks.

Tight, sweet car. Just a few brainstormed ideas. New "S" style front air dam, or, at least, get rid of the bumper over-riders, Horn grill fog/driving lights, right park the wipers, duck tail, not really much else, the car is so straight the way it sits. The lowering will be good, and the H4 lights, Can you get away with the yellow French lenses? That would look cool.

Big honkin' 'glass flares, gucci wheels, a 934 front airdam, biplane rear wing, big floppy black plastic mirrors...Oh, and don't forget those ultralight red-and-white RS door panels and check interior. When you cut out openings for the speakers, there's a trick: use a can opener. Someone would name it the fat turd or something....

opening front vent windows if not on already. Maybe spiff up the engine compartment. Perform extended maintence (replace all suspension rubber; repack F. wheel bearings; check throttle detent stops, lube door hinges and door stop pivots; repl. tranny fluid; brake fluid, etc.)
It looks to be in great condition. Above are just things that often need to be done. |

After looking at the car. The only thing I would do to change it's appearance would be to put the key in the ignition and see what it looks like moving.

Do H4's look any different to OEM? Seems like a dumb question, but I don't know the answer.

I was going to post a pic of my h-1's, similar looking to h-4's, to answer the question about how they look compared to original, but can't figure out how to...even after reading Wayne's "READ ME" post...which was all greek to this computer illiterate. Sheesh... I finally figure out how to post a pic after much work, and the rules change. But I LOVE computers, I really do...what the heck...if I can't do it typing, I just won't do it.

Lowering and H4's or H1's are all it needs.
