Turn signal relay
The turn signal relay on my 1978SC has suddenly started blinking at about twice the normal rate. Left and right indicator lights come on as expected as does the hazard warning lights (activating all indicator lights) but at a fast rate. Is this an earthing fault or has the relay failed? Is it possible to test the relay? I have it off the car at the moment having spent a while trying to find it from behind the dashboard.

I experienced the same on my 84. Swapped the relay and good since then. Note however to use the Hella one not other cheap ones like URO. I cheaped out and bought URO first but that failed DOA for some reason.

the reason the relay will go faster is that one of the light bulbs is not working.Check that and if all is lit up replace the relay
