Half Cage used to be white. We powder-coated it grey to suit and covered crucial areas with PPF film so the buckles don't chip the cage when you throw the belts off your shoulders and hips...

The seats...
The seats are so ultimately important. First and foremost, they have to be properly functional. I don't have to tell you that. The seats we started off with in this car were functionally adequate, but fully covered in black vinyl and you'd sweat like a pig in them after a 10-minute drive. I still don't know what make they are, they came with the car... Anyway, I have an Indian Auntie upholsterer around the corner from me. Used her a few times for odd jobs. She does good work, but never tried her for Porsche stuff. One of those micro businesses with one owner and 3 employees. So I tested her with these seats. Top job for the car, methinks... Her name is a Amina, BTW. She really came through for me on the seats. They look top class, the tweed base and seat backs breathes better, no sweating and the seats are generally more comfy... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1535051811.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1535051811.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1535051811.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1535051811.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1535051811.jpg |
