Spark plug, distributor and leakdown questions

I've seen the leakdown testers where people make a solid shaft with a spark plug fitting at the end. But I can't find a build thread anywhere with how they made it. Can someone show me the way? The Porsche fitting is 14mm x 1.25 correct?

Anyone try the Beru distributor cap yet? The bosch one wont break the bank, but Beru is pretty reputable, and Bosch hasn't really wowed me lately.

While I'm in the engine bay I'm going to try to chase down a possible vac leak using a cigar (thanks Draco!) and then I'll smoke that cigar. For the brake booster hose, which is the hose I clamp off to see if it changes the idle?
