Bosch electrical connector
I'm installing a Bosch throttle position sensor on my track car so I can wire it into the data recording system. I need a plug to connect to this:
Is this a routinely available connector or do I need to track down a Bosch part. |

I think that is an AMP brand connector.
Eagleday.com has them too (their PN = ECK-101)

connector sources
Thanks for the information, gentlemen, especially acme911 for your generous offer. Long term I want to wire up some additional items so I would like to find a source of these connectors, both male and female.
The links posted above helped me identify the connector as a "junior power timer" type. That led me to sources that are not limited to Bosch part numbers. Here's what I found, in addition to the links posted by others above: (the S*****d was a supplier name that was censored. Is same as a type of solvent and rhymes with Goddard, the father of rocketry) Bosch parts: https://www.St*****d.com/022906231a.html.html Generic "Junior timer connector" Suppliers: https://www.digikey.com/products/en?mpart=1-827578-1&v=17 3 way auto tyco waterproof Junior power timer connector DJ7035Y-3.5-11 - Yueqing Minyang Electric Co.,Ltd https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Tyco-Amp-3-pin-5-Sets-male-and-female-Junior-Power-Timer-JPT-Connector-MAP-Sensor/32756873824.html https://www.corsa-technic.com/category.php?category_id=146 Amp Junior Power Timer https://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/680/category/7 https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/TE-Connectivity/1-827578-1/?qs=%252bl6dOeovFWphed%2f25pqHvQ%3d%3d&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqueivNWF3QIVQ19-Ch33mwNMEAAYAiAAEgJQkPD_BwE AMP : 1-827578-1 TIMER, CONNECTOR HOUSING | TE Connectivity Bosch catalog entry (with dimensioned drawing): https://gs-gsconnector-us.resource.bosch.com/media/A928000020-DEENW05B01%20%281%29.pdf I'll update this when I have obtained some connectors and have had a chance to try them. Thanks, all.

Great list.
Add mouser, Newark / element14, am sure there are more. Amp is a very well known name in the industry.

Thanks for the input, Dan. Mouser link added. Yeah, apparently somewhere along the way AMP became TE Connectivity.
I don't have an EE background so I'm feeling my way here. Maybe Timmy2/Dennis will comment - he builds harnesses and knows his way around these vintage electrical systems. I bought an ignition "green wire" kit from him a while back. |

You're so welcome - yeah I think they were even TYCO for a while, I can't keep track anymore.
Am sure Dennis is more up-to-date and will assist. Watch as I think some places (distributors) only handle bulk qty's.

I’ve been watching this thread holding back on comments.
The trick is finding a decent price for the connector, the terminals and the correct rubber boots. Hopefully all from one supplier. I buy them in bulk quantities from a non-public US based European parts distributor. Eagle day does sell them in kits, and I do the same when asked by members here for a fair bit less $$.

I buy a bunch of these connector housings and boots from some place on line. OK prices. I think they are in EU though.
The pins in Gold I bought from Newark electronics distributors in quantity of 200. They are Junior Power connector pins.

It's a 'Junior Power Timer' connector.
Search ebay for 3 pin junior power timer or 3 way junior power timer The key search term is 'junior power timer' Enjoy!
