Alternator change engine won’t shut off.

So my new alternator works great. Somewhere along the line I’ve screwed up. The engine idnition won’t switch off. I have to remove the fuse to the ecu and disconnect the battery. The alternator light stays on. Charging fine. Which wire got cut or screwed up? Installed exactly as it had been.
