Passenger door light switch
I am having trouble with my passenger side door switch. The switch is working, I unscrewed it and it is ok but I am getting an intermittent short when driving. The buzzer goes off every once in a while, scaring the crap out of me. I guess the wire is shorting to ground. If I pull of the passenger side cover over the booster fan can I find the wire up there somewhere? BTW, I am cleaning and regreasing my window tracks

Remove the switch with a box wrench while hold the plunger in place ( if you use a socket the wire could break off and lost forever ) and look at the connection and wire, it may be frayed.
Booster fan? not sure what that is?

Wire.
Also, do not let the any bare wire touch the body.
It is always hot. (12v). Gerry

I removed the cover and the wire was there, hidden behind the heater blower. The wire was frayed, fixed. No more buzzer sounds. BTW, the blower in the passenger footwell.
I feel heater backdate coming up....
