How did you route your twin plug wires

Guys,

I'm having a hell of a time trying to cleanly route all 12 wires from the electromotive to the plugs.

First, no one offers 6 wire guides that help space the wires away from the block. The kits that are made are for 3 or 4 wires. I've got them routed but honestly feel they look cludgey.

Can you send me some advice and better yet, some photos?

Thanks,

RUBBER SLEEVE CLAMPS

the rubber clamps can be ordered from Porsche/Pelican
they come in various sizes
it is what the factory used

the clamps are used at al the shroud to fan bolts and the valve cover studs...notice the spark plug holders too

the could be used in combination too...I don't know if the diameter is correct...but may clean up the bay a little

Mine goes under a 964 thingy from the distributor over top of the fan. You're not burdened with a dizzy any more, so no use trying that for you...

I dunno. They tend to naturally fall into bunches of three (three each side of the engine, two sets of three above the tin, two below the tin).

I better go look at your pics on the other thread.

Ooooh, I think there must be a better way to get them under the tin than that! I have a set of 964 wires, so they actually have a suitable rubber bung where it goes through the metal.

Hmmm, sorry - I'm not helping at all.

So I guess it's acceptable to have the wires touching each other like that. For some reason I thought it wasn't.

I was thinking about a hole saw and a nice rubber sealing grommet throgh the tin...
