Hey all, taking the air cool on trips, hotels car unattended making me a little nervous these days. Car has factory alarm 82 SC. Key in door deal, I have the battery device remove and go. So thinking about folks with wreckers and such. So thinking some kind motion alarm on car. Any advice other than don’t let the car out of your site.

You know the old saying if they want it they are going to get it. I usually try to park mine in view of the front desk when I am at a hotel. Make sure if you have classic insurance it covers overnight hotel stays. Some do not cover you when you leave your car parked overnight

I can't take credit for this one, as I remember seeing in another thread on this topic, but there's always the Ultimate Porsche Security Car Cover if you really want to keep people away while you sleep.

I like the idea of the Saturn cover.

Nowadays, GPS/cell-tower based locators are pretty cheap. My car sends me an email whenever it leaves a pre-defined circle around my garage.
