Installing Rear Swaybar/Drop Link Questions 3.2
I'm installing new rear sway bar bushings and drop links. Does this bushing look like the correct size. I thought I had a stock sway bar and ordered 21mm bushings. Are these too small or do they tighten up and close the gap when installed ?
Thanks

I think so, I asked myself the same thing and even went back to Porsche were they confirmed that it was the correct part number.

yes that's the same on mine, the split is at 12 oclock...did you use droplinks from Porsche? I had nothing but troubles with the lemforder ones, they would tear out the bushings in no time.

Did you measure the sway bar diameter at the bushing location? If you don't have a caliper, you could adjust a Crescent wrench to fit the bar and then measure the wrench gap with a ruler. Then measure the hole in the bushing while in the same position as installed on the car. The bushing hole diameter should be about 2mm smaller than the bar diameter, so that the bushing is pre-loaded a bit.
477 411 313D is for 21mm bar (bushing ID is 18.65mm) 477 411 313C is for 20mm bar Last edited by UROParts; 10-15-2018 at 02:52 PM.. |

The part number the vendor sent me was 477411313M and the bushing ID is about 18mm. The sway bar does measure 21mm. ab1752 - I saw the bad reviews of the lemforder and went with something from a different well known vendor

^ Looks like 477 411 313M supersedes 477 411 313D, so that should be correct as long as your bar is 21mm.
