915 input shaft seal, how many are they?
Sorry for the stupid question, but how many seals supposed yo be in the input shaft support of a late 915? My transmission came with one seal snd one O ring, but the gasket kit came with two seals and a O ring, and I found one pic by searching google that shows two seals inside the support cone, am I missing something here?

To answer your question. The older 915 transmissions had a non removable guide sleeve. Those transmissions used a different size input shaft seal and the transmission had to be completely disassembled in order to replace it. Thus two different seals in the kit.
