intercooler ?-help
I just got my car back from the body shop...I do not seem to be developing boost correctly. Could this be my problen. How do I fix? Just slide back on and tighten, or have I done something more damaging? Thanks
Jim

yes, you just pop it in and tighten...those rubber gaskets can get flat and start to leak with time. Replace if unsure...
What's the exact symptom of "not developing boost correctly"??

Hi Jim
You're probably getting .5 -.6 bar max out of that, eh? You need to swivel/adjust the pipe to perpendicular as best you can. No tools required. Make sure the bottom fits over the turbo too. That is a likely place to have a problem as well. There is a plastic fitting between the turbo and intercooler intake pipe. Make sure there are two o-rings. You may adjust the top but put the bottom out. Make sure the pipe is tight over the o-ring. A little oil on the o-ring helps. Let me know if you need help since we are almost neighbors. Best
