Please help confirm window felt needed.

1987 Targa with power windows

PET says I should have a felt installed in both the leading and trailing edge of the window channels. I confirmed on my car that the leading channel has felt but the trailing edge, the one down in the door, both passenger and drivers does not.

Furthermore, the bottom trailing edge of the door glass has a white plastic bushing that rides in the trailing channel. The plastic is snug in the channel with no room for any kind of felt from what I can determine. Window does not rattle, up or down. But I'm in the process of backdating some ventilator quarter windows. I'll have it all open so if I can correct any issues while in there, I'd like to.

Can anyone confirm their Targa has the same trailing channel lack of felt/plastic bushing set up? Is there special felt that fits in the channel which allows the plastic bushing to run within the felt?

Thanks in advance.

I'm just now seeing the post by Solamar. Not sure if I overlapped but I believe we are asking different questions
