Thanks for the reply, but the issue is the part number listed appears to be incorrect, as it doesn't match the photo in this thread. The bolt is a round flat head bolt. The part number for '22' as per your previous post, pulls up a different screw that is a Phillips head.

I assume the part has been superceded with this newer version then.
If you're that worried about "originality" then I suggest removing the rust from your current one and calling it a day as you had originally suggested.
