My car just doesn't feel "peppy", but it seems to be running OK-any ideas?

My wife and I went downtown for dinner, taking the "long way" each way. My car just didn't seem to wind up as quick as usual from 3500r's on up. It isn't missing, and seems smooth, and does pull, but it felt kind of anemic. Any ideas? Maybe I was just sick of driving today (not the P car). I've been stuck in road construction traffic snarls and wreck traffic jams 3 times today for probably 2 hours of stop and go, I know I'm sick of being on the road today, but that shouldn't effect how the car feels to me. Any ideas?

All guesses:
  • Gas quality or octane
  • O2 sensor degredation (glunked up with unburnt oil?)
  • Clogged Injectors (Techron time)
  • Tire Pressure
  • Malaise (yours, not the car)

Give "Ruby" a Techron treatment, and call me in the morning.

Thanks for the replies. It was sort of warm, but I think it was me. I took a nice drive this morning, and all felt well.
