MSD Setup for my new 3.2 SS build
Been searching and have read many posts about different MSD setups and was hoping someone had a great link or could just tell me what setup to use.
Which Control Box? 6425 6AL or the Street Fire? Which Coil? Blaster 2, Blaster 3, or High Vibration? WhichSpark Plug wires? Which ones? Any other special connectors? Tricks? Thinking of mounting control box in the car to keep engine bay clean as I have carbs. Thanks for any feedback.... Joe |

There is a programmable option from MSD too that would allow you to lock out the mechanical advance in the distributor and program your own curve.
Could be handy, and save you from having to recurve the distributor (a task that may be so out of style that nobody knows how to do it anymore!!) Last but not least there is the CDI+ option if you want to maintain a more or less stock looking option without having to disturb the wiring. I vote with my wallet when I see products I like and I really appreciate that Classic Retrofit is developing innovative new products specifically for our cars.

^ A wire wheel, and a <$10 pack of spade terminals and connectors from Mouser/timmyd and I converted my Streetfire box into an OEM look. I was all in for under $250 so it was a no brainer compared to the more modern options.

Add this to the ignition solution and you have a decent fully programmable ignition.
