Put a 12vdc test light across the coil '+' and '-' crank engine. If the light flickers you have coil pulses. This means you also have working crank speed and ref sensors, you can not have coil pulses if either of those sensors are completely dead. But be aware that the air gap being set at 0.8mm is super important. Also each sensor should measure 900-1100ohms across the sensor signal pins.
