No Turn Signal 'Clicking' noise in my 80SC

My turn signals and hazard lights operate properly, with the exception of the fact that they don't make any noise every since I've had the car (5 years). Wondering if the turn signal 'clicking' noise I'm used to on other cars is supposed to be there in my SC.

Also (possibly this is related?) there is no 'door open/key in' or 'fasten seat belt' warning buzzers in my car.

All and all it's pretty quiet in there. It seems a previous owner may have silenced the noises.

Can someone tell me what creates those function noises normally?

The turn signal click is faint. And you probably have the door/belt buzzer disconnected; the latter is under the dash on the left side of the steering column.

When I installed a new flasher relay I noticed that it was much quieter than the old one. (The old one was flashing too fast). However I laid the relay over a nearby black heating "box" and it is now louder with the "box" acting as a sounding box.

If the turnsignals work correctly w/o noise it could be that the flasher relay was replaced with a solid state unit or the flasher relay was moved towards the front trunk or wrapped in some sort of sound insulation material.

The clicking sound is a physical relay opening and closing.
