Help identifying function

Greetings colleagues,
I have been doing some much needed house cleaning in the engine compartment and came across two open wires. Not sure if I knocked it off a connection? It looks as if the other half of the plastic housing is missing from it as well.

Thanks for the help. (Pics listed below)

Amir

If it’s a 78/79 it, goes to a pod on the blower fan base above #3 runner
If it 80/83 it gets taped off, not used.

Yellow and brown would be the blower. Thermo-time switch for the warmup regulator vacuum would be my guess.

Wire colors would help. If brown and red/white then John Walker was correct.
Not used on US cars after ‘79 but be aware the red/white is energized with ignition on.
Tape it up very well (red/white isolated) separate from the brown wire and tuck them out of the way securely.
