Momo hub install issue

Got the right hub for my car. Can’t get the hub to slide down the splines like I expected. Don’t want to force it

Is it normal to be so tight?

Never mind I got

Now to figure out what to do with that ring with the bent tab on it

Great instructions come with this !!! :-(. And every tutorial and video I have watched conveniently skip that part
