Source for tach seal for '69 911
Need a tachometer seal for my gauge re-do, '69 911E. The Porsche part number, as reported to me by Pelican, is: 999.704.127.50. It's 110mm and Stoddard has none and it's reported to have been dc'd. Any thoughts here? None on eBay, or at least on my search. thanx steve

Isn’t really just used to hold the gauge in place? I don’t remember seeing it when installed. If so some thin rubber tape might work.

Craig, right...the gauges on a '69 are held in place by knurled nuts that tighten in the frunk. I'm guessing this a dust seal of sorts. I was also thinking of some tape, maybe like that good cloth tape that they use on some Mercedes. I've also thought I might be able to carefully and slowly glue down the old one that has torn in half. Might be a small gap to deal with, but in no event do I think this is this super critical. thanx steve
