Swepco is petroleum grease. Do not use it on the rubber bushings. It'll make the rubber sticky and breaks rubber down into a pasty film.
I glued my Neatrix. I figured that's why they included the stuff. Works too. I used silicone spray lube to install my plates. Works good and is easy to find. Like Chuck said, whatever grease you use is not going to stay long. The rubber absorbs some and the rest gets pushed off the surface when you jam the plate assembly back into the torsion bar tube. An EP (extreme pressure) grease would be great, but most are petroleum based = bad for rubber. Do a test spot on the rubber with some synthetic EP grease like Mobil 1 or Valvoline SynPower. Maybe that doesn't harm the rubber????? I dunno. POR-15 would be great for the inside of the tube. Good call. I repainted mine with silver engine enamel. Looks almost like factory after the cad plating fades.

I don't really know how much it cost because I'm having him plate a bunch of Elephant Racing parts, plus a big box of suspension stuff from my two project cars. I'm in for close to a grand this round. I think his minimum is $45 so I would speculate a pair of spring plates would be about that.
