Where is the fuel pump in my 75 911s

Just swapped out my original fuel tank and want to install electrical fuel pump to work with Weber’s carbs. I needed to take the original pump out but cannot find it in the engine compartment or under the fuel tank.

the stock CIS pump is very high quality - get the device from PMO that allows you to plumb into the hoses for your carbs - it comes with a handy dandy fuel pressure gauge too

as Tom Sawyer said to Huck, "I'll show you mine for 25 cents"

I do not know the pump that came with Webers I bought 2yr ago is PMO, but the fuel pressure gauge came with Weber’s is PMO.

You might consider locating the fuel pump you are going to use up front by the reinforcing cross member, or maybe even in the smuggler's box. Porsche realized it was a mistake to put the pump back there where there is a lot of heat, which often vapor locked the CIS pump/system. By '76 it got moved back up front, where it had usually been.

heinz - This is a bit late for your application, but others may benefit if doing a similar Weber or carb conversion.....

This is my Front Pump Mount with a Delphi 4psi pump. It mounts on the crossmember and is supported by a clamp on the Steering Rack.

If interested, please email me.
