I replaced all the fuses with new ceramic core, copper conductor bullet fuses. I do that every few years as the old copper starts to tarnish or look anything buy new.
And I carry a batch of spares.

For $10 I bought this:
40-piece Ceramic Torpedo / Bullet Fuse Kit for Audi Mercedes VW Saab Porsche BMW Cheaper and easier than bothering to clean the old fuses. Just replace every when they look old or tarnished.
