Latest video is up! I got the rear latch panel fully welded on, and came up with (what I think is...) an innovation as far as flaring the car!
Would love some input on the best methods to preserve door gaps. Is there a gap tool? spacers? I finally welded on the quarter panels on this 69 911 S. If I’m being honest… It was a bit terrifying. But, I made a jig to ensure the panels were in the correct location before I welded:

What are those front radiators you’re using?
The ducts look good, pretty similar to the design I came up with for my 912, (which is based on the Porsche 996) Quote:

For my build, 76 912, I’m following the Colin Chapman philosophy of light and simple, so I’m going with a built (cams, STi crank and rods, ITBs) normally aspirated Subaru 2.5, at around 215 hp. This motor is actually lighter than the original VW Type4 that was in there.
Anyways, lighter, smaller motor let’s me run smaller radiators. I worked out the math, and came up with about 200 square inches of radiator frontal area is about the minimum. So what I’m doing is I’m fitting a pair of Austin Mini radiators (106 square inches per side) under the headlights, and making a complete fiberglass ducts for them. These ducts will have a 12” fan on the back side, and exit into the low pressure area directly under the car. The ducts will basically form an expansion chamber on the front, that increases the static pressure of the incoming air stream. It’s based on the Porsche 996 design. I spent a lot of time looking up radiator sizes, and the Mini rads fit about the best, all I really have to do is modify the end tanks and re-locate the water lines. I estimating that this will just about enough, and as a plan-b, there’s more room on the right, so could take a Chevy impala radiator, saw it in half, weld up the end tanks and that will give another 60 square inches. I’m using a modified 964 bumper (I like the cleaner rounder lines if it), and this forms the front part of the ducts. Yes, it’s amazing how similar the Subaru (EJ, EG and EZ are to the Mezger engine. Certain parts even interchange.
Sounds like you’re going with an EZ — that’s a great engine, with the right ECU just loves to rev. I’ve seen one running with Triumph motorcycle ITBs and sounded amazing. I’ll be using a Speeduino ECU with my own harness. I’m using an extra daughter board for extra analog outputs to drive all my OEM gauges. It’s pretty simple to write Speeduino modules. Quote:

Please don’t stop updating this. I think a lot of us are interested but just don’t speak up.
On the other hand, I’m not into YouTube or videos much. I’m old school and prefer pics. But don’t let that influence you. Most of us will use YouTube in our life when we need instruction on certain things. I’m curious to see it when it’s finished. Keep up the good work and thanks for bringing it here for us to enjoy.
