My driving ability learning to handle rear wheel rear engine in and auto cross. It's the only upgrade I can use on all of my cars.

Which spacer did you use? I have a Momo Prototipo that could stand to be a couple of inches closer to me...

Making it so the windows go up and down and I have heat.
I really like my 930S steering wheel and 8"/9" FUCH.

Another favourite is having a spare airbox lid with the outside portion cut off, leaving only the rim that clamps the filter in place. When driving, it makes for a great induction growl that's not too loud, but brings a silly, little kid smile to my face. It sounds like it adds at least 20 horsepower, but in actuality, probably loses me a couple. Oh, well, it sounds cool.

Tall shifter or not? I'm considering buying one for my 86. Need to figure it out before purchase.

Driving experience... Lowered/Corner Balanced/ Toyo R888Rs

Overall attitude of the car...964 cams. Power band is tremendous and the idle chop turns heads everywhere you go

I got the classic shifter which is designed to emulate the appearance of the factory unit and comes in only one size to the best of my knowledge. It even fits inside the stock shift boot, although there are some additional little lumps from the elbow inside.

And keep in mind, mine will be slightly different as it's for a G50, but if I had an earlier car with a 915, I'd still get the classic to maintain an original appearance. If I had removed the console and was itching for a mechanical, Rube Goldberg looking device, and answering curious questions from passengers, I would opt for the standard shifter.

Being in my 70's I think I'll satisfy myself with just having a nice running sc. There are a few costly and time consuming upgrades that I might have enjoyed were I a younger person but I'm satisfied to be able to enjoy the car as is.
You unfortunately reach a point where you dont have the energy to take on too many projects.
But I must admit, and I've mentioned it in previous posts i am really enjoying the 400mm wheel that i added at the beginning of the summer.
The view to the instruments is much better than the 350 mm boy racer momo wheel, parking lot maneuvering is somewhat easier and the comfort on the highway is noticeably more enjoyable.
I've added carbon fiber wrap to the engine and trunk lids, which is a personal thing and doesn't really make the car any more enjoyable to drive.
I've purchased an AEM a/f ratio gauge which will be installed as time permits.
I've added a cat bypass pipe which is slightly noticeable in the sound department.
I'll concentrate on trying to keep it looking good and to keep it running as well as it should.
So far I'm getting a lot of enjoyment just driving it and as I tell my friends I wish I had bought it when I was a lot younger.

For me, it’s getting into my RST hot rod that I literally built with my own hands. It all started when I crashed (at Mosport) my beloved ‘86 modded to a 3.4 turbo motor and other goodies. Won my fight with the insurance company on appeal and that started a five year journey which resulted in a turbo powered longhood with the right mix of classic appointments, and modern comfort mods. I drive it most days nine months a year so I now have a permanent grin on my face!
Evolution of a Carrera RST
Cheers,
Johan

Favorite.......

For me, my favorite has been having Tyson getting his hands on my suspension and working his magic on the geometry and corner balancing.

I often just look at the stance and smile.
