Got my kit last week. Brad shipped it really fast. Now I have the horrible job to put a few thousand miles on my fresh motor ;)
The kit quality seems excellent.

The "every 2 years" part makes zero sense - no valve train wear is taking place if the engine isn't being operated, regardless of years parked (not talking about pitting from corrosion, etc, due to inactivity).

Not that it affects the performance, but your packaging is spot on. Much nicer than the ziploc bag that the Kirk tool arrived in.

I’m convinced. I finished the install of the SnapGap kit and I am very impressed with it.
I’ve owned my 911 for 15 years now and drive about 1000 miles a year. This is the fourth time I have adjusted the valves. Every other time was with the standard little feeler gauge tool and I always hated it, fighting to get the feeler gauge blade under the foot of the adjuster then not knowing for sure how tight was “just right” because I did it once every 3-4 years. I always second guessed my adjustments and was always sure I got at least one or two wrong. This kit solves that problem and now I have confidence tackling this procedure. Brad is very responsive will answer any questions you have, the product is well designed and well packaged. The instructions are concise and unless you want to futz around and take your time to “bond” with your car like I do when I work on it once you do two the process is really just as quick as a normal adjustment. Plus Brad is a Pelicanite!

Well... I have been out of it for awhile... I was about to do a valve adjustment when I came across this... I'm in!

Looks very interesting. I am comfortable adjusting my valves with a feeler gauge. I tried the Kirk tool and it just didn't make things easier for me. Back to the old way. This looks very well designed and seems to simplify the process. My question is about the "next" valve adjust. What is the process for that?

I have done maybe 4 or 5 adjustments to 2 different cars but I end of going back and double check them. It's time consuming and I feel like a do a good job.. but there is no way my feel is going to be as accurate as this shim. I'm excited to give this a try.. and throw them in both my P cars and my bug if they work out.

This is a great idea for when the engine is out of the car. But numbers 6 is hard enough adjusting the regular way. I just cannot see back there. Then like someone said, The valves by the cat are a problem. At least for me.

Back to the shim falling out. So I come back some time later to readjust the valves. Could? as I loosen the nut the shim fall out and fall into some part of the exposed engine??

In the videos on the site you can see it is barbed so it can't fall off, theoretically.
