83 sc timing marks
I thought I understood this but not so sure now.
Of the two marks at TDC on the crank pulley I always thought the mark on the left is Z1 and the mark to the right is 5*BTDC. The pulley rotates cw right? But when referring to the Bentley it appears the mark to the left is 5* BTDC and the mark to the right is TDC. Have I been looking at this wrong all along? No doubt if I am wrong then the timing is not right but still the engine seems to be running fine. Could you please enlighten me? Hugh |

Thank you Ivan. So it is as I always believed. The reason I questioned is because on page 0310-12 on the Bentley manual there is a diagram showing the opposite. An error, obviously.
Thanks again. |
