Need help with water leakage into cabin
The last few times I have driven my 81 930 in the rain, I notices some water dripping from both left and right ends of the dashboard, where I'm pointing in the picture. It looks like there is some air flow and droplets come down and wet the carpet underneath. I have replaced the windshield one time, but I don't believe that the seal is faulty or leaking. The outside looks pretty good and seated all around. The water is coming both from left and right sides of dashboard about equally, which is odd. Could it be from the outside air vent on top of the trunk lid? I'm not sure why it is doing it now all of a sudden and not before.

Yep, likely a windshield seal.
The real cure, take out the windshield, and replace the seal with a new Porsche seal. And be sure someone local has a windshield in stock. The odds are good that the old one will come out just fine, but if someone added a sealant in there, or some other crappy "fix" the old windshield might crack. So budget for a new Porsche seal, and a new windshield. If you are lucky the window will come out fine. And budget lots of time for the process. Once the window is out, clean up the area of the windshield frame. If the leak has been happening a long time, you may have the rust worm monster. I would recommend you find a local Porsche specialist body shop to assist or do the windshield swap. If there is rust, they can remedy it properly, and then get the windshield back in place. Best case, no rust, and no broken windshield, just a new seal and some labor. Worst case, rust and a new windshield and the seal to buy. And you don't want to keep getting it wet until it is fixed. The area takes a long time to dry out and the rust worms love moisture.

If your windshield seal has failed it is time to carefully check your rear glass seal. A small leak over time will cause a lot of hidden damage. Rob

I had this issue with my '72. Noticed it a decent amount of time after I bought it. After I took the windshield out, I could see rust under the dash on each side, so I took the dash pad off. Large portions of the metal under the dash pad were rusted out as well as some of the ridge in the corners that held the windshield seal in. So unfortunately your leaking problem doesn't bode well for what's under your dash pad.

Windshield gasket (most likely) or...
Plugged sunroof drains (less likely) Windshield gaskets are installed without goop, and they are quite easy to remove. If goop was applied, the existing windshield and seal may be more difficult to remove without damaging the windshield. Reinstallation should be done with the proper Porsche seal, not an aftermarket seal. Reinstallation is pretty easy, but there are some tricks. For example, the metal trim should be shaped properly to ensure the seal extends outward far enough to cover all four exterior corners.

I've had so many water leaks over the years... California car (dry/hard seals) immigrated to BC (lot's of rain) LOL. In this case I would definitely start with the windshield seal. if it's anywhere on the roof then probably the sunroof drains. If it's the drains it is a whole other mess, but first try the windshield.
