Header question

I'm converting my 75 track car to a 73 RS look. The rear bumper won't fit with the muffler/header set up on the car now and since the parts aren't interchangable with any others i'm going sell it as a kit. Now for the question...what do I put on it? It's a 11:1 comp. twin plug 2.8l. Does anyone make a good set of headers? If I go with SSI's do they flow as well as headers? Anyone have any experience with the Dansk sport muffler? I really don't need heat, but it does need to be quiet enough to run at Lime Rock.

See Peter Weber's website at "quiethorsepower.com". He along with Jerry Woods have spent considerable time developing their 911 exhaust system just for cars like yours. It's what I will use on my 2.9l.

If you want heat, the SSIs would work fine. They flow very well.

I would use 1-5/8" European Racing headers with some street extensions and a Monty muffler if you don't need a heater.

That's what's on the car now. It's a great system, it just won't work with the RS bumper.
