1986 Sunroof drain tubes

Hi,
Seeking help/suggestions on how to clean the drain metal tubes - pipes that are located inside the body.
I think that there are 4 drain tubes - 2 in front and 2 in back. One of my front (driver side) is plugged or rusted ....
How to clean or unplug them, any special tool or trick?

thanks

Try a length of weed-wacker line to push out any debris.

I used weed-wacker line in my drill for the roto-router treatment. Found a clog at the bottom of the passenger 'A' pillar. It bends there and shoots forward along the inner fender for a couple inches. Ended up working it from the bottom as well.

thanks for suggestions
my problem is exactly same as MichaelJackson - tried weed-wacker but it gets stuck near A pillar. Next I will try to use it on drill .... maybe something stronger than weed-wacker will be better .
Any other ideas?
thanks

I've used 1 coated wire of a 12/2 Romex electrical wire. That's the type used for 20A circuits in, say, your kitchen. It has a little more stiffness than the weedwacker line and the plastic coating protects the drainline. 14/2 (15A) may also work.

I find a length of old speedo cable works best.

Try an old fashioned coat hanger if you don't mind straightening it out.

Your local hardware store will have stiff "wire" in a loop that is thinner than a coat hanger but has very good rigidity. I have used this whenever weed whacker line folds under pushing pressure and it works beautifully, plus is very long and can go end to end.

I had an old electric guitar string laying around that I used. Worked great!

For what it's worth, this is an issue I've had for some time.

Thanks for the advice.
