AFR Gauge Sensor Wiring Question

Hey guys, I've installed an AEM afr gauge and the sensor on the left bank exhaust. I ran the wiring through the hole the main cabin where the harness goes. However i'm not finding a good way to route it from that spot to the sensor. Feels like, shock, axle, wheel are on the way and no good place to attach it and keep it out of the way.

Anyone has any good ideas/pics of how they routed the wiring?

I ran my wiring up into the engine compartment from the sensor to the connector. I located the connector in front of the fuel filter. The main wiring I then ran down through the hole the fuel line goes through down around the trans mount area and into the tunnel. I used the old evap holes, which I am not using to enter the tunnel. The wire then goes through the tunnel and out in the trunk to the gauge.

I tied the wire to the fuel lines to keep it out of the way underneath.

I ran the wires through about 2' of a durable fabric (mcmaster 55545K69) so as to protect them from anything the left rear wheel picks up. Then ran the wires below the engine, towards the front, then over the transmission, and through the same grommet as for the speed sensor. I made sure that the wires I ran were tied to things that stay with the car when the motor and transmission are removed.

Where did you mount the gauge?

Thanks guys. I ran the wire behind the shock tower, there was a hole where some of the wires were coming in then through the hole in the engine tin where the O2 was going through previously and to the sensor. I had to cut the wire and solder them back in to fish it through that hole in the tin.

Here’s a pic of the gauge on the lower dash.
