Quick query for you trans guys out there - is throttle pivot shaft removable??

Seriously, is that little throttle pivot shaft on the left side of a 74 mag case tranny removable?
If it is not threaded in, I will just leave it in place.
The shipping crate I built is tight and if it were out, it would give a bit more wiggle room.
UGLY crate, but stout - soon to be off to CMS for overhaul/upgrades.
Thanks,
chris

Yes. It unscrews from the case. Put a dowel in the cotter pin hole and unscrew.

YES, mine was hard to remove so I put a torch on the boss on the trans and eventually it came out.
