Removed belt to the A/C compressor

...anything BAD to that? Changed my alternator/fan belt tonight, and my A/C is already not working since it's needed a re-charge since 1990. I was just like...I don't need this. I *NEVER* use A/C. This car or any previous cars going back to my days in New Mexico and Arizona. Here in Seattle we have like 3 days a year where you might think about A/C. And it's one small thing the motor doesn't have to turn.

10 minute test drive and no warning lights or anything.

This an OK thing to do?

There's no issue with doing this. I've had mine off for as long as I can remember.

The only issue you'll have is MORE POWER!

The only issue, the AC will never work that way. Obviously you don't mind no AC, so no problem.

Another down side is that you automatically lose 5/10th of a point in full concours competition.
But - there is hope - I can now install/remove the belt in less than two minutes when needed.
