Clocking of clutch release fork
I was hoping this would be obvious when it came to put the parts together, but it isnt.
#1 Release fork is splined to the shaft #2 #13 Clutch released lever floats on the shaft (non-issue) #18 Change Lever is also splined to the shaft. I assumed that I would clock #1 and #18 in line with each other, but in that configuration #1 Release Fork would have very little travel to release the pressure plate. ![]() This alignment of #18 makes the most sense, red line is approx position of #1. ![]() There must be a correct way to set this up, but I have found nothing in the Pelican search history or Bentley manual. Appreciate any pointers!

your solution is very simple;-) remove the clutch arm and the little finger..After you install engine and trans....then install the arm and little finger + spring .Also do not forget to use the seals..number 4 ,one inside and two outside....you see simple...

Appreciate the reply, Ivan.
So when the #1 release fork is held in position by the throwout bearing will there only be one logical position (clocking) of the #18 Change Lever? Or do you just select the rearward most position to get the maximum travel?

Once you have the all in the car.Hook the clutch cable to the arm and pull towards the back of the car with a big screwdriver to power over the Omega`s spring tension. The you instal another seal and little finger with the spring.leave a play in it..Adjust your cable to the specs-there are more then one link in here - i`m sure you can find out. After your clutch is adjusted adjust the play on little finger...that is all...Oh ya lube everything.............

Makes sense...
Regarding the seals, I have two o-rings and one shaped seal. I'm guessing the shaped seal goes on last with the small arm #18 (yellow), and the o-rings go where marked green. Does this look correct? ![]()

Looks like the Elring 915 trans gasket set only provides one of those shaped gaskets. I'll order a couple more separately.
Thanks again for your help Ivan. Matt
