Distributor Points connector
I have a couple of 0 231 169 xxx distributors. I have refreshed them to very good condition.
My only issue is the molded electrical connector. Due to age and heat the insulation is quite brittle. The newer 0 231 184 xxx and later connectors are not the same shape. Anyone know of a source for these? ![]()

The closest I’ve found is to get the points/capacitor kit and remove the capacitor (unless you have use for it). It’s the closest I’ve found in order to the the connector.

Thanks for that link. It is the closest thing I have seen so far.

You can carve the square ones round with a little effort.

Friend mentioned he had some old VW ones in his garage somewhere. He'll dig it out for me.
I have done a little work with some electrical rubber I had. Needs a little fine tuning, but it is turning out well so far. New on left, original right. Thanks for replies. ![]() Also from Pelican, 356 Beru square capacitor terminal. Looks like a little sanding would round it off. https://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/SuperCat/14916/POR_14916_BASTUN_pg2.htm#item7
