Time for the rain to come
Which wiper blades do you recommend?

If you don't mind the look, the new type Bosch blade works better than anything.

Beyond a good wiper blade I suggest a sealant for the windshield. I use CarPro Reload, with it I don’t have to use the wipers much as the rain beads off faster than a wiper could push it off.

What he said!!^^ I've used PIAA wiper blades for years on all my cars.
They are made of a silicone base and aren't affected by ozone like rubber. They stay looking and acting like new for many years. They don't chatter and if they have any trouble cleaning, PIAA says to run them dry for 30 or so seconds and they will wipe like new. It seems when run dry they apply a slippery surface that revitalizes them. Try them, you will love them. The blades on my Pcar have been on for six plus years and wipe like new.

Silblades hands down. The ones on my car are almost 20 years old. The ones on the little white truck are even older. They are still perfect because silicone doesn't degrade. I use them on everything I own.
Also... For all wiperblades: Wipe the length of the rubber regularly to keep dirt off of them. Wiping the windshield with a bar of dirt doesn't clean the windshield and doesn't do the class any good.

Sounds like Silblades and PIAA are pretty much the same in that they are both silicone blades and seem to last forever. Chose either one for a great experience.

I drive my 911 in the rain. The stock Bosch blades work great, and last several years. If you use the windshield wipers a lot, the edges wear down. I may look into the silicone blades, but a clean wipe is important over long lasting blades.

and always wipe clean. Tip on running them periodically on a dry windshield for 30 seconds is per PIAA instructions and works the nuts. Never any chatter. Try them and you'll never go back!

For those that are using the silicone blades, PIAA for example, which style seems to work best, the flat or the more traditional type with the hingey looking things supporting the blade?

I use the traditional and they work great, but have never used the other type

+1 on the PIAA. Way better than the Bosch. I also put RainX during the rainy season.
