(Most probably) a fan in an engine bay keeps running after a drive when engine and ignition are off. Engine is warm. Fans stops when lights get shut off.

it looks like 1985 Carrera..
Did you do any work on the 911 we need to know about? I would start with the engine compartment relay ,under the cover .. Ivan

The only electrical fan back there is the heater/blower fan. Not as familiar with the Carrera as the SC system, but on the SC, that blower is controlled by the heater controls between the seats.
