Custom Door Handles

Hello, Does anyone know the source for these door handles? Are these made by Accumoto or do they just adapt them in to their builds? Ed

Many 911s have custom door handles from other models. I’ve seen some with fiat, vw even 356. I found some I liked at a swap meet recovered them and fitted them to my custom door panels.

For my project, I want to be able to bolt to the metal in the door, For the the Karma Ghia and VW bug handles shown above, how do they install? I found some pictures of the handle installed on the door card itself before it gets installed on the door. Would like to avoid installing on the door card. What was your solution? On my original post, the door handle is secured with external bolts. Ed Last edited by edjrbashian; 12-19-2019 at 04:36 PM..

Mine are bolted to the doorcard it’s 3/16 plywood so it’s plenty stiff and strong enough.

Imoto, thanks for the insight. I may be able to incorporate that idea in my application.
