h4 / city light part question

hi

i would like to get the city light feature working.
i have a set of h4's but there is no socket and bulb in the opening.

i purchase a pair of sylvainia # 1893 bulbs

and did a search here for a socket and this is what i came up with
VW PUSH-IN DASH BULB SOCKET [/B]INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHT 1 PRONG 111957397

i purschased it and looks like the exact part i need but it is a little to small for the opening
( falls right thru)


so my question is does anyone here know the correct part number
for the city light socket?

it is just a little to small and falls thru the opening

shim it, maybe?
otherwise you gonna have to find a used one. the holder in the tail light assembly is the same, i do believe.

So you are saying they will fit Bosch H4 lights (for the city lights)
