Whether shifters or axles - they save a lot of weight as they are hollow!

The thing I appreciate the most is the hand grips. That makes it much more ergonomic for me to hurl across the garage in frustration.

My technique with a toilet plunger is to slowly compress the plunger in the toilet away from the "obstruction" and then slowly lift the plunger (but not out of the water) to pull water into the bellows portion. Then, place the bellow over the obstruction/hole and compress. The use of the water (rather than just air) seems to do the trick the first time - most times. It also keeps splashing to a minimum.
