RETIRED

Some people love them, others curse them....my advice is carry a spare set of points for the inevitable failure....

Too big to fail

I had one in my 2.7L and loved it. That distributor is still running around on another pelicanito's car.

The install is cake, but they do fail for no apparent reason, and I got two in a row that were defective right from the factory after my first one went bad. So I think the quality is questionable. They work great though...

Installed Pertronix 5 months ago. Havenīt had any problems from ignition since. No need to adjust , works well.Took 1 hour to install.I would say one of the best things to fit in your car.If it fails while driving...then there is not much you can do.Maybe I should carry spare points/condenser in the car JUST IN CASE... so far no problems.
